Parking Meters Transferring From One to 2 Hours

New York - New York City drivers will soon be able to pay for up to two hours of parking at a time.

Beginning in October, the department of transportation will begin converting all 1-hour meters citywide to 2-hour meters. 

There will not be any changes in meter rates for the first hour. The second hour of parking, though, will have a higher rate.
