Person Shot and Killed in Apartment Building on Bay Parkway

A 43-year-old person was shot and killed late Thursday night in an apartment building on Bay Parkway and West 12th Street, NYPD said.

The victim was found on the steps between the second and third floor at around 11:30 pm, the Post reported. His identity has not been released yet, pending family notification.

The NYPD has not made any arrests but is investigating the incident. Three people were seen fleeing the scene in a four-door sedan following the shooting.
