A 30-year-old Mexican immigrant was shot by an ICE agent Thursday morning, in Brooklyn.

The incident occurred at a house on West 12thStreet and Quentin Road.  An ICE agent tried to arrest an immigrant for an outstanding warrant when an associate of the deportee assaulted an agent. The agent shot the victim in the face.

The aide was transported to Maimonides hospital, in Boro Park, and is being treated in serious but stable condition. He was also arrested for interfering with the deportation.

A few dozen people came out in front of the hospital on 10th Avenue to protest against ICE.
