By Y.M. Lowy

A string of egg throwing incidents in the Catskills Fallsburg Police launched an investigation that led to the arrest of three individuals.

As BoroPark24 reported, on June 29, police received a report that a parked vehicle on State Route 42 in South Fallsburg had been hit with eggs thrown from a moving car. Shortly after, a second report came in that pedestrians on the same road in Woodbourne were also targeted.

With the help of surveillance footage, police identified the vehicle involved and discovered that eggs had been thrown at pedestrians, vehicles, and signs along Route 42, from the Town of Thompson through Woodbourne.

The suspects were identified as Jessica Hoek, 22, Ryan Hoek, 21, and Steele Dolan, 18. All three were arrested and charged with Criminal Tampering in the third degree, a misdemeanor, and Harassment in the second degree, a violation.

They were arraigned in Fallsburg Justice Court before Judge Scheinman and are due back in court at a later date.
