Prominent Boro Park Dayan Appointed Satmar Dayan of Khal Lev Aharon

Yesterday afternoon, the Satmar Rebbe appointed the renowned gaon Rav Shaul Yechezkel Schwartz, shlit”a, as the Dayan of the new Khal Lev Aharon-Satmar of Boro Park. 

Rav Schwartz is the son of Rav Avrohom Yonah Schwartz, Ava"d Khal Chassidim of Vienna, and the son in law of Rav Shlomo Tzvi Stern, Debrecener Rov. 

He has served as the Debrecener Dayan and on the Karlsburger Beis Din for many years, and is counted among the prominent halachic authorities of our generation. 

Rav Schwartz has worked for many years to guide the Rabbonim of Satmar through shiurim and guidance. The esteemed Dayan is also known for his incredible and clear shiurim in Halacha. 

The Rebbe drank l’chaim for joyful occasion, and wished the Dayan many successful years of Torah leadership.
