Rain Is Finally On The Way

After weeks without rain, drought conditions that keep worsening, and wildfires seemingly everywhere, New York is finally getting some much-needed rain. 

A rainstorm is predicted to hit New York later tonight that will bring heavy rainfall overnight. There will be light to moderate rain on Thursday as well that is expected to continue through Friday. Around 1-2 total inches of rain are expected. 

Although it’s not nearly enough to completely make up for the last few weeks, it’s definitely an improvement and will hopefully lower the risk of brush fires.
