Residents have Curfew Lifted in NYC

Mayor Bill De Blasio has lifted the Curfew on New Yorkers a Day early in a unexpected move. 

The Mayor announced the change today in his press conference, citing mainly peaceful protests throughout the weekend

The Curfew was effective in limiting the amount of People able to cross into Manhattan to only Essential workers, therefore discouraging looters.
