Sanitation to Collect Trash Every Day This Week

Boro Park - Sanitation trucks will be collecting garbage on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday as it prepares for the pre-Pesach rush. 

The department said that garbage put out on to the curb will be collected sometime overnight or the following morning on each of those days. Also, it is allowing residents to put out recycling bins for collection, even though its drivers won't be picking them up until the end of the week.

As in previous years, the department has placed large trash bins at selected locations across the neighborhood for larger pieces of garbage. order to accommodate any garbage that may not have been collected. The containers will be located at 12th Avenue corner 45th Street,14th Avenue corner 45th Street, 14th Avenue corner 53rd Street, 16th Avenue corner 48th Street, 18th Avenue corner 55th Street.
