Satmar Rebbe to Spend a Shabbos in Boro Park

A sense of anticipation is sweeping through Boro Park as the news spreads that the Satmar Rebbe prepares to spend Shabbos in the neighborhood for the first time in five years.

Planned for Parshas Shemini, which will be Shabbos Mevorchim, the visit is already bringing excitement to the Satmar Kehilla, many of whom have long awaited such a moment. The Rebbe is expected to lead an uplifting Shabbos with tefillos and tishen in the Satmar Beis Medrash on 53rd Street.
