Seret-Vizhnitz Rebbe to Lead an Uplifting Shabbos in Boro Park

By Y.M. Lowy

Boro Park is eagerly preparing for a special Shabbos with the Seret-Vizhnitz Rebbe, who is arriving from Eretz Yisrael for a week-long visit. During his stay, the Rebbe will participate in several simchos of his Chassidim and lead a Shabbos filled with inspiration.

The Rebbe is expected to arrive on Wednesday, Parshas Lech Lecha, and will remain in the city for the entire week. He will attend multiple weddings and daven at K’hal Meor Baruch Seret-Vizhnitz on 13th Avenue, while also receiving kvitlach from his Chassidim.

In the past ten years, the Rebbe has come to Boro Park for only one Shabbos. Two years ago, he celebrated a Shabbos in his smaller shul, which could only accommodate the local Chassidim. This time, he will lead a full Shabbos for a large gathering at the shul of his son-in-law, the Kossov Rebbe.

The Kossov Rebbe extended a warm invitation to the Seret-Vizhnitz Rebbe to celebrate Shabbos at his shul, recognizing that the Seret-Vizhnitz shul could not hold such a large crowd. The Rebbe will celebrate the entire Shabbos there, from Friday night through the three Shabbos seudos.
