Shomrim Distributing Free 'Emergency Phones' to Every Shul in Boro Park

Boro Park – The Shomrim organization will be giving away free “emergency phones” to every beis medrash in Boro Park, in gratitude for their successful fundraiser that concludes on Monday.

The phones, which cost several hundred dollars each, do not require dialing. Just pick up and it automatically rings at the headquarters of police, Hatzolah or Shomrim.

To order one for your shul, call 718-746-6746 or email emergencyphone@boroparkshomrim.com.

Shomrim said that the freebie is a symbol of their gratitude after the three-day fundraiser on Charidy raised the entire $180,000 goal in one day. There is now a bonus round of $300,000.
