Shomrim Teamwork Results in Apprehension of Serial Car Burglar

A burglary suspect who has plagued the Boro Park and Williamsburg communities for weeks has been taken off the streets thanks to incredible teamwork by Boro Park and Williamsburg Shomrim.  

Boro Park Shomrim spent hours upon hours sifting through video footage that showed the suspect breaking into cars throughout the neighborhood, and shared his license plate information with their counterparts in Williamsburg. 

Williamsburg Shomrim, with their sophisticated search systems, located the vehicle as it entered the Williamsburg neighborhood. 

Members of Shomrim immediately made their way to the area, and watched at a distance as the suspect began to break into multiple vehicles. They alerted the NYPD Public Safety division, which handles serious crimes. 

Police officers were soon on the scene, and arrested the suspect who was found with a passport and close to one hundred thousand dollars worth of checks that he had stolen from a vehicle. 

Thanks to this incredible teamwork, the suspect will likely be spending years behind bars, unable to continue his crime spree any longer.
