Skolya Chassidim Will Celebrate Hachnosas Sefer Torah in Memory of R’ Avrohom Bodenstein
YS Gold
This Sunday, a hachnosas sefer Torah will go out to the Skolya Beis Medrash with the participation of the Rebbe and the entire chassidus. This comes as the Rebbe returns from an elevated ten-day visit to Eretz Yisroel, visiting many mekomos hakedoshim around the holy land, and spending an inspiring Shabbos in Meron along with his chassidim.
The Torah has been written by Reb Yosef Bodenstein l’iluy nishmas his brother, Reb Avrohom Bodenstein, who was niftar two years ago. His second yohrtzeit falls this Sunday.
Reb Avrohom spent his life in chinuch, and impacted hundreds of talmidim—and this sefer Torah is a fitting way to commemorate his life.
This event is set to make history, as the chassidus has not celebrated a hachnosas sefer Torah to the Boro Park shul in 23 years.
