Skulener Rebbe to Relocate to Boro Park Following the Summer
By BoroPark24 Staff
It has been officially confirmed by the Skulen Chassidus that following this summer, the Skulener Rebbe shlit”a will be relocating to Boro Park.
Since taking over Skulen after the passing of his father, the Yeshuas Yaakov zt”l, the Rebbe has been traveling often between Monsey and Boro Park to stay connected with Chassidim in both locations.
The Rebbe, a son-in-law of Rav Shlomo Eliezer Braunstein shlit”a, Rav of the Tarniva kehillah, had been living in Monsey since his chasunah to be near his father-in-law.
At the start of the summer, the kehilla shared the Rebbe’s schedule for Shabbosim in Boro Park, including Parshas Pinchas, Devarim, and Re’eh — the Shabbos just before the first yahrtzeit of his father.
Now, the kehilla has confirmed that the move is happening. The Rebbe will be settling in Boro Park permanently with his family, into a newly renovated home on 55th Street, close to the Skulener Beis Medrash.
