Rav Moshe Berzovsky, a son of the Slonimer Rebbe, shlit”a, who serves as the Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Beis Avrohom Slonim, will spend Shabbos in Boro Park. Shabbos also marks the yohrtzeit of the “Sabba Kaddisha” of Lechovitz, the founder of the Slonimer dynasty.
Hundreds of Slonimer chassidim from throughout the Greater New York area will be in Boro Park for this occasion.
Seudos Shabbos will eaten together in the nearby Beth El hall, and the Rosh Yeshiva will lead the Friday night zitz and seuda shlishis.
Following an uplifted Shabbos, a dinner in support of the yeshiva in Eretz Yisroel will take place. The Rosh Yeshiva will deliver divrei bracha in the name of his father, the Rebbe shlit”a. This is in addition to a number of events in different communities that he will be attending.
Great anticipation is being felt among chassidim in advance of this historic Shabbos.
