Snow Flurries to Lightly Fall Tomorrow, Increasing into a Major Snowstorm by Wednesday
After reaching the unseasonably high temperature of 60' today, the temperature in New York City is expected to drop precipitously to the 30s tonight.
Monday is expected to bring light, wintry weather, as a quick-moving storm will move in by 9am and be gone by 4pm, bringing to the city mostly rain, and then some snow that does not accumulate, and then more rain.
Temperatures will continue to drop on Tuesday and Wednesday morning.
On Wednesday late afternoon and increasing through Thursday morning, however, a major snowstorm appears increasing likely Wednesday into Thursday, when some areas of New York City may see one to two feet of snow, or maybe even more.
Following Wednesday’s blizzard, temperatures in New York City are expected to continue to drop on Thursday, Friday, and Shabbes. In addition to the heavy snowfall on Wednesday and Thursday, strong winds may create blowing and drifting snow.
Boro Parkers who were planning to travel on Wednesday or Thursday should make some adjustments or allow for additional travel time, with roads likely becoming hazardous.
