Suspect Arrested for Assault on 52nd Street

A suspect, who appeared to be under the influence, was arrested by the NYPD for assault Monday evening on 52nd Street between 16th and 17th Avenues.

The suspect kicked a passerby who in turn started to scream. Locals who heard the yelling summoned Shomrim who were at the scene within a short time and held the suspect. He was subsequently arrested by the NYPD.
