Suspect Caught Stealing Hand Truck Wanted in Previous Burglaries

Boro Park - A man who was caught by Shomrim members stealing a hand truck from a store on 13th Ave. was revealed to be a suspect wanted for helping himself to items in a Boro Park shul a years ago.

The thief made off with a hand truck worth around $300 and a dolly cart from outside a store on 13th Avenue and 46th Street last week Wednesday. Shomrim reviewed camera footage of the incident, and when the suspect was spotted on Monday, he was detained and a police report was filed.

It emerged that the suspect was also the burglar who entered the Tenka beis medrash on 12th Ave. and 47th Street in August of last year and stole items. He was charged for that burglary as well.
