Suspect Finally Arrested After McDonald Avenue Incident in August

A man was arrested yesterday in connection with an incident that left a young child hurt in the neighborhood this past August.

Anastacio Voglezon, 39, of Brooklyn, was taken into custody yesterday by officers from the 66th Precinct. He faces multiple charges, including assault and reckless endangerment.

The case stems from an August 25 incident on McDonald Avenue. According to authorities, a 3-year-old girl was walking with her mother near 382 McDonald Avenue when a man approached and pushed her to the ground. The child suffered a scrape on her elbow but did not require hospitalization. The suspect then fled on foot.

The 66th Precinct’s work on the case was praised, with the arrest bringing the community one step closer to safer local streets.
