Teen Vanishes After MTA Crime Spree, Including Bay Ridge Train Theft

By Y.M. Lowy

An 18-year-old subway thief is on the run after skipping a court hearing in Brooklyn on Tuesday.

Justine Randall-Pizarro was supposed to face charges for a string of subway crimes, including stealing an R train in May and taking it for a ride in Bay Ridge, right near Boro Park. Since last September, prosecutors say Randall has been in trouble for multiple incidents in Brooklyn and Queens. Randall is accused of stealing from MTA workers, pepper-spraying a train operator, and in June, driving a train at Van Siclen Avenue station up to 40 miles per hour.

The case is still open, and a new court date is set.
