Teenager Injured When Falling From Golf Cart in South Fallsburg

South Fallsburg - A teenage boy was transferred to a hospital Sunday afternoon when he fell off a golf cart at a housing development in South Fallsburg.

The 13-year-old bochur was riding the cart in the Willow Woods bungalow colony when he slipped off. He was initially semi-responsive, and a helicopter was called to transfer him to the hospital. Ultimately, it was not needed, and he was taken by the Catskills Hatzolah to Orange Regional Medical Center.

The victim is now conscious and alert and is listed in stable condition.
