Thief Breaks Into Zoom Food Station, Takes Off with Advil, Motrin

At around 11:25pm on Monday night a suspect broke into the Zoom kosher food station at the Mobil gas station on Ft Hamilton Parkway and 43rd street. The suspect broke into the convenience store via a back door while covering his face.

The suspect attempted to steal the cash register, but was unsuccessful. He then emptied a box and started filling it up with Advil and Motrin medication that’s behind the counter, along with other small items.

The store which is usually open 24 hours, now closes at around 11:00 pm nightly, due to Coronavirus.

The NYPD and Shomrim was at the scene on Tuesday morning reviewing camera footage and trying to obtain fingerprint information hoping to identify the suspect.
