Three Muggers Rob Pedestrian on New Utrecht Avenue

Boro Park – A young man walking in Boro Park early Saturday morning was waylaid by three thugs who robbed him of hundreds of dollars worth of items.

The assailants, two black and one Hispanic youths, accosted the 21-year-old victim on New Utrecht Ave. and 42nd Street and demanded he hand over money. They then forcibly forcibly grabbed the man’s cellphone and other electronic devices in his pocket before fleeing.

Police estimate that the muggers, who were all in their upper teens to mid-20s, took about $660 worth of goods.

The NYPD has released pictures of the suspects and are asking for the public’s help in identifying them.
Nobody was hurt in the incident, which occurred at 1:30 a.m.
