TONIGHT: Rachmastrivka Community to Attend Mass Technology and Chinuch Conference

This morning (Tuesday) the Rachmastrivka Chassidus announced that, in keeping with the requests of the sons of the Rebbe, shlit”a, the entire community will gather Tuesday evening for an evening of awareness and reflection upon the dangers of technology, which is tragically seeping into our community and piercing the walls kedushah which we hold so near and dear.

 This comes as we approach the halfway mark of the days of Sefirah, when we count towards greater levels of kedushah and taharah, which will enable us to accept the Torah in the proper state.

 The evening, which will be attended by the Rebbe, shlit”a, will be headlined by Rav Elozor Yonah Silberman, a master mechanech from New Square, who is known as an especially insightful and inspiring speaker on chinuch issues.

 The event is geared not only for the Rachmastrivka chassidim, but for all parents of students in the chinuch institutions—elementary, Yeshiva K’tana, and the girls school—which have been expanding at a large rate in recent years, serving a large number of families in Boro Park.

 This asifah comes on the heels of a similar event held for the bachurim of the Bobover Chassidus, which was addressed by the Rebbe shlit”a, and in other communities as well—each of whom are seeking to negate the forces of the yetzer harah with greater levels of kedusha and Taharah, toward a true Kabbolas haTorah.
