Torrential Rains in Boro Park, Drainage Systems Overloaded

At about 12:00 this afternoon, a torrential rain came down in Boro Park for about half an hour straight. 

Yaker Biegeleisen, BoroPark24’s weather expert told BoroPark24 that “an estimated ¾ of an inch of rain came down in this one-half hour.” 

Drainage systems were typically overloaded on many corners, and community assistance organizations got busy all around town, assisting Boro Park residents who were affected by the flooding.
