Traffic Alert for Tonight: Roadwork Moves to 13th Avenue Between 46th and 50th Streets

Following last night’s road resurfacing that shut down 13th Avenue from 49th Street and caused major traffic backups, the NYC DOT will continue work tonight, focusing on the stretch between 46th and 50th Streets.

Drivers are once again urged to avoid the area and strictly observe no parking rules along the avenue, as crews work into the night.

Southbound B16 buses remain detoured due to ongoing work, skipping stops on 13th Avenue from 49th to 56th Streets. Temporary stops are being made on 12th Avenue as needed. Riders should note that bus arrival information may not be accurate during the detour.
