Trump Sends State Dept. Delegation to Ferencz Shiva

Jersey City – The White House has sent a delegation to the shiva house of Leah Mindel Ferencz Hy”d, who was killed in a terrorist attack while minding Jersey City’s sole kosher grocery last week Tuesday.

The group, led by the State Department anti-Semitism czar, Elan Carr, presented Moshe Dovid Ferencz and his family with a flag that flew over the Capitol in honor of his wife. An accompanying memo signed by the Capitol’s architect stated that the flag was flown in Mrs. Ferencz’s honor at the request of Rep. Josh Gottheimer, a Democrat who represents the district.

Carr tweeted a photo of him comforting Chaim, Mrs. Ferencz’s son, putting his arm around him.
Before leaving, the local Chabad shaliach put tefillin on Carr.
