Tuesday Night: a Historical Night for Bobov, As Askanim Provide Details about Campaign and New Buildings
On Tuesday night, thousands of Bobover Chasidim will gather in the halls of Ateres Chaya to hear more details about their upcoming campaign to raise funding for two new school buildings.
As previously reported, the Rebbe, Shlit”a, asked all members of the kehila to participate in the campaign, by donating and raising a combined $10,000.
As the weeks passed by, hundreds lined up at the doors to the room of the Rebbe Shlit”a, to present their donations for the construction of two new buildings: the girls school at 14th Avenue and 51st Street, which is set to be completed in the next few months, and the boys school at 36th Street and Church Avenue.
On Tuesday, the Chasidim will gather for an evening in which Rabbi Yoel Rosenfeld, a political figure and askan, will lead a panel of speakers from the Vaad Habinyan, who oversee the day-to-day operations at both sites of Bobov’s newest spacious, tall, and state-of-the-art buildings.
Details of the upcoming campaign will be shared by one of the leaders of Amidei Zion, Rabbi Chaskel Rosenberg, whose work and dedication to the current campaign, called Binyan Zion, has brought the buildings to their current state of completion.
Rav Shloime Zalmen Spitzer, who has deep knowledge of fundraising and campaigns and has led many of the largest fundraising campaigns in recent years, also will speak about what is set to be the largest building campaign in modern Jewish history.
At the close of the evening, the Bobover Rebbe Shlit”a, will share his Birchas Kodesh to the thousands who have already donated, while also providing an opportunity to those who have yet to present their offerings and receive personal brachos from the Rebbe.
