Two New Speed Cameras Erected in Boro Park

Boro Park - New York City is expanding its speed camera program, with Boro Park getting an additional two seeing eyes.

A few months after the city installed a half dozen cameras in and around Boro Park, the latest additions are on the intersections of 13th Ave. and 65th Street and 9th Ave. and 42nd Street.

The speed cameras operate from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Friday, year-round. A fine of $50 is given to the owner of the vehicle speeding at 10 or more MPH over the speed limit.
