Verizon Wireless Customers Suffer from Outages Overnight

Verizon wireless customers reported outages Tuesday overnight and into Wednesday morning. Down detector websites showed the outage affecting customers in many locations across the United States.

On Wednesday morning Verizon said the outages have been resolved as of 6:30am.

“Overnight some wireless customers experienced a dialing error when placing calls from their wireless phone to a long-distance landline number,” the company said in a statement. “The issue was resolved at 6:39am ET. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
