Viznitzer Chassidim in America Prepare for Historic ‘Kinus Beis Viznitz’ Gathering

Feverish preparations are underway in these days as the entire Viznitzer Chassidus prepares for a historic gathering that will bring together all chassidim in North America to the massive “Ritz Center” arena in Elizabeth, New Jersey on Sunday evening, the fifth of Adar.

In the four years following the petirah of the previous Viznitzer Rebbe of Monsey, the unity and the love between his eight sons—who have each succeeded him in different cities—has been a legendary phenomenon.    

In a letter signed by all eight Viznitzer Rebbeim, they recall the decades in which their illustrious father, the Toras Mordechai of Viznitz, invested incredible energies in establishing pure homes on the foundations of tzniyus and kedushah, and how the time has come to strengthen those foundations. “We ask that anyone who finds themselves in America on that day, make the effort to attend this gathering.”

The event will be addressed by Rav Ephraim Wachsman, Rosh Yeshiva of Monsey’s Me’or Yitzchok, and by the Admor of Viznitz-Beit Shemesh, representing his brothers as they seek to strengthen the holiness and the purity that have been the hallmark of Viznitz since its inception.
