Want to be a Five-Star Uber Passenger? Don’t Slam your Door on Your Way Out
By Yehudit Garmaise
Do you want your Uber driver to rate you with five stars in the car company’s new rating system?
Then, don’t slam your door, Uber drivers say in many of their negative reviews of their passengers.
According to Uber’s data, drivers most often ranked passengers in New York City as the absolute worse-rated riders, with other coastal customers in Seattle, Wash. and Washington, DC, coming in second and third.
The most polite and pleasant Uber passengers, according to drivers’ ratings, live in mid-size cities: San Antonio, Texas, St. Louis, Mo, and Nashville, Tenn.
Both Uber riders and drivers will be able to view their ratings and how they were calculated, beginning this week, according to the Uber app, Axios reported.
