An event taking place this evening at 8:30, presented by Regional Bikur Cholim, is being billed as “Breakthrough + Awareness.”

Speaking will be a number of well-known names, askonim and Rabbonim who have led our community toward a place of openness with regard to addressing mental health. 

Reb Sender Orenstein, founder of Relief Resources—an organization that has been at the forefront of this evolution—will be one of the speakers. He will present data and research culled from his decades of work in this field, specifically in our heimishe community. 

Reb Shlomo Meir Binet, a well-known social worker in the community for many years, will address the question: “what are we still missing in our community with regard to mental health treatment.”

There will be panels of experts, Rabbonim, and well known engaging speakers—making this evening a truly historic and breakthrough event in this most important area.
