Weekend Weather: Freezing Conditions and Heavy Snow

The weekend begins with a sharp turn toward much colder weather. Today will reach a high of 37 degrees with some sun early on, but conditions will turn windier and colder as the day goes on.

Shabbos will be extremely cold, with temperatures staying around 20 degrees, well below the freezing mark. Snow is expected throughout the day, with totals ranging from 2 to 4 inches. Spending prolonged time outdoors could be dangerous due to the cold.

Sunday stays bitterly cold, with a high near 25 degrees. Winds will increase again, and another 4 to 8 inches of snow is expected. Roads and sidewalks are likely to stay snow-packed and slippery, making travel difficult throughout the day.
