When Homeowner Wanted to Report Stolen Package, Police Never Showed

Boro Park – A home burglar walked into the hallway of a Boro Park home and stole a package that was lying on the stairs. When the homeowner reviewed surveillance camera footage and called police to file a report, officers never showed up, he alleged.

The victim, who lives on 9th Ave. and 45th Street, says that the theft on Tuesday was the second similar incident on his block that day. The first robbery did not have video evidence but the second did.

The video shows the thief walk into the checkboard-designed foyer and remove an object from an Amazon box. He then walked out of the house.

The victim called NYPD immediately to file a report. It’s now two days later and police officers have yet to come to accept it.
