Woman Hit by Train on 62nd St and New Utrecht Ave

Multiple emergency vehicles arrived at the scene on 62nd St and New Utrecht Ave where a woman was hit by a train, Thursday afternoon. 

The victim lingered too close to the train after disembarking and was hit as the train began moving.

The woman was transferred by EMS to Maimonides Medical Center. Her condition is unknown at this point.

The Manhattan-bound D train is currently suspended due to the accident.
