Zlozitz Uvos I’Bunim Ends With Matzah Baking Ceremony for Kids

The Zlozitz’er Kehila brought a beautiful program to celebrate the completion of a successful Uvos I’Bunim program by enabling all the kids to participate in a makeshift matzah bakery, bringing a real hands-on experience to the children.

Over 100 children participated this Motze Shabbos at the Shul on 12th Avenue and 38th Street, where they brought out whole grains of wheat for the children to pick and separate, then each child got a chance to use a hand-operated grinder.

The children all lined the tables where they were able to work in the dough, create real-like Matzo and even had their matzo placed in a toaster oven giving it the ultimate crisp.

The Rav of the Kehila joined the children and sang songs from Hallel giving it the full pre-Pesach uplifting experience these children deserved after a successful winter of learning with their parents on every Motze Shabbos.
