3 Suspects With Knives Raid Local Business, Flee Before Police Arrive

By Y.M. Lowy

A quiet early morning inside a small business near Boro Park turned dangerous when three individuals walked in at 3:22 am on Sunday, November 30, carrying knives and giving sharp commands.

According to police, the group moved quickly into a property at 772 57 Street, and once they entered, they told everyone inside to get on the floor, leaving the victims with no chance of reacting. Moments later, the situation escalated as the suspects punched and kicked the people on the ground before grabbing whatever they could. Personal items were taken, and the cash register was removed with an unknown amount of money inside.

By the time the victims were able to understand completely what happened, the suspects had already run off into the dark streets. No injuries were reported, but the incident left those inside shaken.

Detectives are now reviewing the images captured of two of the individuals. Police are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
