63-Year-Old Man Stabbed in Boro Park Basement

A 63-year-old male was stabbed by an unidentified man Sunday afternoon in a basement on 8th Ave and 54th St.

The unidentified assailant was playing on a gambling device and refused to allow the 63-year-old victim to watch him play. 

The victim stepped away, however, the assailant retrieved a knife from his scooter and slashed the victim in his left forearm before escaping on foot towards 9th Ave.

The victim was transported to Maimonides Medical Center in stable condition.
