72nd Precinct Captain Yasin Visits Shmira Headquarters

Captain Mobeen Yasin, Commanding Officer of the NYPD’s 72nd Precinct, which serves parts of Boro Park, visited Shmira headquarters last week to strengthen the partnership between police and community patrol.

During the visit, Captain Yasin toured the facility, watched members respond to real-time calls, and got a close look at the advanced CCTV Street Vision network that helps Shmira monitor activity across the city.

Following the visit, the 72nd Precinct shared a post on X, writing, “Grateful for the continued collaboration with our Community Safety Patrol partners @Shmira. We all want the same thing—safer neighborhoods—and we’ll keep working together to make it happen.”
