A large fire at a recycling facility in Newark, New Jersey is sending smoke across the Hudson River and filling the streets of NYC with an acrid scent. The blaze broke out Monday night and is still raging Tuesday morning.
While firefighters are battling the flames, no injuries were reported.
The air quality at Central Park deteriorated due to the fire and was deemed unhealthy. The EPA recommends everyone to reduce time outdoors.
