Another Towing Operation Clears Abandoned Trucks in Boro Park

by Zevi Klein

A second towing operation took place today at McDonald Avenue and Avenue M, coordinated by the NYPD Sheriff’s Department. This operation, which occurred at 11 AM, focused on removing trucks that were parked without plates, taking up valuable parking spaces in the busy area, The NYPD deployed several tow trucks to ticket and remove these abandoned vehicles.

Despite both operations happening on the same day, the NYPD confirmed to BoroPark24 that there was no connection between the two actions. Each operation was conducted independently to address different issues related to illegally parked vehicles in the area.

Local residents have expressed appreciation for the efforts, as these abandoned trucks have long been a nuisance, blocking parking spaces and contributing to congestion in the neighborhood. The NYPD’s continued efforts to clear up these vehicles are seen as a step forward in ensuring that parking remains accessible to community members.
