NYPD Removes Abandoned Trailer from 53rd & 13th, Freeing Up Parking Spot for Residents

At around 1:30 PM this afternoon, the NYPD blocked off 53rd Street and 13th Avenue while a tow truck removed an abandoned trailer wagon that had been sitting in front of Shomer Shabbos.

The scene caused some frustration among Boro Parkers as traffic backed up, but for many, it was a long-overdue move. Some were heard saying, “Finally! They should’ve done this earlier.”

Once the trailer was towed away, the cops reopened the street, and everything quickly went back to normal—except now, there’s one more parking spot available for the residents.
