Anticipation in Advance of Wedding in the Courts of Burshtin, Toldos Aaron, and Melitz

Excitement is felt among Burshtiner chassidim, as the wedding of the Rebbe’s grandchild approaches.

A branch of the Zidichoiver dynasty, the Rebbe’s father, Rav Shloime Yaakov Zeida Eichenstein—a directed descendant of the Zidichoiver Rebbe—came to America and was active in war rescue, alongside Rav Eliezer Silver of the Vaad Hatzalah, and reestablished the chassidus from back home in Galicia. His second son, Rav Dovid, leads the Burshtiner Shul in Boro Park, and will be marrying off his grandson this week.

The chosson is Avrohom Yitzchok, the son of Rav Shloime Yaakov Zeida, who is the dayan of the kehillah, and a son in law of the previous Rov of Toldos Aaron, zt”l (who was a son of the previous Toldos Aaron Rebbe). The kallah is the daughter of Rav Menachem Mendel Horowitz, a scion of the Melitzer dynasty. The wedding will take place this coming Tuesday outside the Burshtiner Shu, continuing in the Tiferes Rivka Hall after the chupah.  

Shabbos Aufruf will be filled with uplifting events, and the Rebbe will eat the seudah with the entire kehillah following davening Shabbos morning, and a festive forshpiel will be held following Shabbos in advance of the Simcha.
