BDE; Harav Haguon Reb Chaim Meir Wosner Ztz”l

We are saddened to inform of the petirah of Haguan Hagudol Reb Chaim Meir Wosner Ztz”l, the Rav of Zichro Meir and Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva Chachmei Lublin in Eretz Yisroel. He passed away at the age of 83.

Haguon Reb Chaim Meir Ztz”l was a son of the Posek Hador, Haguon Reb Shmiel Halevi Wosner Ztz”l, and served as a Rosh Yeshiva in his father’s Yeshiva in Bnei Braq.

He was appointed as the Satmar Rav in London, where he served the community for 18 years. He then moved to Israel to be with his father during his final years.

After his fathers passing, he was appointed to continue as the Rosh Beis Din, Rav of Zichron Meir, and to lead the Yeshiva Chachmei Lublin in Bnei Braq, where he shared his Torah with hundreds of Talmidim.

His Levaya will take place in his Yeshiva at 8:00pm Israeli time, and he will come to Kevura in the Beis Hachaim in Bnei Braq.
