BDE: Mrs. Chaya Miriam Gittel (Gitty) Pultman, a”h

We deeply regret to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Gitty Pultman, a”h, a longtime mechaneches in the Boro Park community and beyond. She was 55 years of age. 

The nifteres was born into the Porgesz family who are ardent Belzer chassidim, and she was married to, ybl”ch, Reb Shmuel Pultman, of the Bezalel art gallery in Crown Heights. 

The nifteres was taught at a number of schools in the community where she left an indelible impact on thousands of talmidos over her career.  She also worked dedicatedly the Chofetz Chaim Heritage Foundation, bringing the message of shemiras haloshon and ahavas Yisroel to Yidden around the world. 

The levaya took place at Shomrei Hadas on Friday morning, where the nifteres was remembered for her chessed, her middos, and her refined character, leaving a tremendous void within the hearts of her family and all who knew and admired her.
