BDE: Mrs. Esther Fogel, a"h.

We regret to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Esther Fogel, a beloved mother and grandmother. She was 76 years of age.  

The nifteres was the daughter of Reb Yitzchok Safrin, and the wife of Reb Usher Lemel Fogel, the longtime dedicated gabbai in the Skolya Beis Medrash. She stood by in support of all her husband’s communal endeavors and was an ardent follower of the Skolya Rebbe in her own right. 

She always expressed much interest in everything that was happening in the Skolya court and listened with thirst to the divrei Torah of the Skolya Rebbe. 

She leaves behind beautiful Torah generations and was deeply beloved by all her family and all those who knew her. 

Mrs. Fogel was unwell in recent years, and was nifteres on Tuesday. 

The levaya will take place at 11:00 Tuesday morning at the Skolya Beis Medrash, 1335 48th Street.
