YS GOLD

We regret to inform you of the passing R’ Yaakov Chudnoff, z”l, a longtime Boro Park resident, and beloved mispalel in Congregation Shomrei Emunah. He was 88 years of age.

The niftar was a ba’al teshuvah who left an entire life behind in favor of closeness to Hashem.

Ever since becoming a ba’al teshuvah, R’ Yaakov would learn for many hours, and was meticulous about his Tefillah b’kavanah and his avodas Hashem.

The levaya took place at Shomrei Emunah on Sunday morning, and the maspidim included Rabbi Sholom Greenspan, a maggid shiur in the Shul, as well as a number of friends and acquaintances.

He was laid to rest at King Solomon Cemetery in Clifton following his neshamah’s unique and heroic journey on this earth.

Yehi zichro baruch.
