BDE: Reb Meir Reichberg, z"l

We regret to inform you of the passing of Reb Meir Reichberg, z"l, a longtime Boro Park resident. he was 77 years of age, and struggled with a bitter disease for a number of years. 

The niftar was the son of famous Bobover Chusid Reb Mendel Reichberg of Bochnia, the legendary trailblazer in revitalizing the kevarim of the tzaddikim in Poland, and leading groups of Yidden to be mispalel at the holy sites. 

Reb Meir was the successor to his father's holy work, and he invested untold efforts in continuing his work. He would lead great pilgrimages of Yidden to Poland for many years. 

But his work never began before the afternoon hours, because he would learn the entire morning. For many years, he delivered a daf Yomi shiur in the Stoliner Shul with great depth over the course of the morning hours. He is fondly remembered by many of the chassidim for his joy in learning. 

Sadly, he was diagnosed with the dreaded machlah, and today returned his soul to its Creator.
