BDE: Reb Mordechai Shloime Spierer, z”l

We are saddened to inform you of the passing of Reb Mordechai Shloime Spierer, a longtime Boro Park resident, an ardent Skverer chossid, and the gabbai in the Bikovsker Shul where he was deeply beloved and respected. He was 67 years of age.

The niftar was born in Williamsburg to his father, Reb Zev and Rissa Spierer. His mother was one of the first teachers in the Satmar girls school, and his father was close to many postwar Admorim in America, a legacy that he passed on to his son. Tragically, Reb Zev left This World at a young age.

The niftar was known as a humble and deeply ehrliche person. He was beloved by all, and always had a smile for everyone— the elderly as well as the children. He kept far away from any machlokes.

In his capacity as the gabbai in Bikovsk, he was active in helping the old Bikovsker Rov for many years.

Tragically, the Reb Mordechai Shloime was struck by vehicle earlier this week and returned his neshama to its Maker on Friday afternoon, leaving behind his wife and beautiful Torah generations.

Levaye details will follow when they will be available.

Yehi zichro baruch.
